Quillar was founded in Hong Kong with a straightforward idea: that consulting should feel more like a thoughtful conversation than a sales pitch. Our founders had spent years in corporate advisory and multinational strategy roles and noticed a gap — many firms offered polished slide decks but lacked the willingness to sit with messy, real-world challenges.
So we built a practice around patience and specificity. Rather than scaling quickly, we chose to work with a manageable number of clients at any given time, so we can give each engagement the attention it deserves. Our office in Tsim Sha Tsui serves as a home base, but our work takes us wherever the client needs us — across Hong Kong, into the Greater Bay Area, and beyond.
The name "Quillar" draws on the idea of quilting — the careful layering of individual pieces into something stronger and more coherent than any single part. That metaphor runs through everything we do: stitching together insights from data, stakeholders, and industry knowledge into practical strategies that hold up under pressure.
